Lots of Visits

Because Katie has never read our mission blog, she does not know what you are now learning. When my life gets busy or overwhelming or otherwise occupied, my ministry blog writing takes a back seat. Outsourcing for this blog has occurred to me and I had a willing body offer to summarize a couple letters a few weeks back but that was given back to me while ministry blogs was very low on the to-do list; however, I do have a couple people giving visit accounts soon and I will give a mini-update now.

Katie has had 3 visits within 2 weeks.

1. Adreana and Greg along with Jimena's mom and sister flew out arriving on a Saturday morning and leaving after church on Sunday.
2. The Throssel family flew out a week ago Tuesday to encourage Katie.
3. Two days later, Greg flew out with the Pastor and his wife from Santa Corazon

These visits were a great joy and encouragement to Katie.  I think having fellow native English speakers and good friends were uplifting.  The plane also brought mail and goodies from missionaries and the last plane took out gifts from Katie's mom as well as a portion of American candy that a recent missions team left for all the missionaries here to split.
