Katie's Cousin, Danielle, Shares About Her Trip to San Fernando

So, here is what Danielle sent me, in her own words....

San Fernando, bueno, it was great!  Very tranquillo. A lot of animals roaming around and making animal noises. The most memorable animal noises were the baby alligators!..so cute.  After visiting the river animals, Katie and I explored a path on the other side and discovered two families, (one of which attended the church, whom Katie meant to find and visit but hadn't until this point).  They showed us how they squeeze sugar cane and grow yucca and all that cool rustic rancher stuff.  We took lots of pictures and pretended that we were tourists, making every pose imaginable with the cane press, I think our San Fernando friends probably got a good laugh out of it (I probably would if someone came to my house and did the same thing). We also got to witness Dina in game facilitator mode with the youth Saturday night.  Most of us got in the games, until we realized how competitive they young boys are. It was intense, yet hysterical at the same time, as the parents and younger children were there the whole time to cheer and support. Overall it was a wonderful weekend full of fellowship, adventures, candlelit group dinners to save electricity for the movie, and opportunities to witness God's awesome ministry in San Fernando!
