Hello Friends!
God is GREAT! AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED! It is such an honor to work for the KING OF THE UNIVERSE.
Thank you as always for your thoughts and prayers. For a quick update....
Our SAM pilot Greg Dahl did have Dengue but was hospitalized before it got too bad. It was the hemorragic strain, BUT he not get to the point where he was bleeding out of his eyes THANK GOD!
He came to pick up Beth and I February the 4th. Beth and I had a great month in San Fernando. I will have to make a blog just about last month. Our annual South America Mission field conference started on Saturday the 5th at a resort outside of the city, but I stayed in the city until Sunday morning to pick up my mom and Dana Wilson at the airport. We went to breakfast where we met up with Matthew Morrison who is a SAM missionary in Paraguay. We all then drove out to the conference a few hours outside of the city. It was an amazing week. My mom's job was to be a "grama" for a baby belonging to another missionary couple. It was great to connect with not only other SAM missionaries from Bolivia but also from Columbia, Paraguey and the folks from the home office, our director and a few others. The speaker for the week was Georgy Murray, chancellor of Columibia International University. God really used him to challenge us... SHAKE us in many areas. I could write up a blog only about that too...
Well, conference was over on Friday Feb.11th. My mom and I have been house hopping! Now we are house sitting for a family who is cat sitting for me.... i'm returning the favior.
My mom and I are about to take the Micro to SAM small groups/ prayer meeting. My mom's first time on the buss! should be fun. It's really hot out. PRAISE GOD. Think warm thoughts ;-)
